Carolina Energy returns to the AAL in 2019.

Carolina Energy Logo250The wait is over for the Energy to announce which league they will be a part of for their 2nd year of competition.

The Carolina Energy Football organization is proud to announce that they will be playing in the American Arena League (AAL) for the 2019 season. This announcement comes after much deliberation over which league would best fit, not only the team, but the community and fans.

Members of Carolina Energy’s staff attended the AAL owners meeting and were pleased with the collaboration of owners and changes that were presented for the upcoming 2019 season. There are now policies, rules, and a strong core group of competitive teams to ensure that the AAL becomes one of the best Professional Indoor Football leagues in the country. It is important to the Energy that next season; the league would create a rival atmosphere with teams being so close in proximity playing each other at home and away. This would not only cut back on travel for each team but will give fans the opportunity to support their team no matter where they play.

The Carolina Energy finished its inaugural season 7-3 and lost in the semifinals to the Richmond Roughriders. Head Coach Ervin Bryson is excited to announce the decision to return to the AAL for the 2019 season.

“I can’t wait to get back into the Bojangles’ Coliseum for the 2019 season and to bring Charlotte a championship” Bryson said.

Jack Bowman, President of the AAL stated “The AAL is pleased to have the Carolina Energy return for the 2019 season. The Energy is quality ran organization both on and off the field that looks to return to the AAL playoffs next season”
